Healthy Futures has rounded up our favorite sex ed resources online, as well as some of the best books you can get. Explore what feels right for you, your family, and your community. And teens, remember to check in with a trusted adult about what you read, watch, and learn.

It is often the most popular and most widely used site specifically providing sex and relationships information and support for young people worldwide.

Dr. Don is a San Antonio Alamo Colleges District professor providing 5-minute intros to all the topics you’re curious about.


Sex, Etc. - Rutgers University

Sex, Etc. is on a mission to improve teen sexual health across the country! Each year, five million young people visit Sexetc.org to get honest and accurate sexual health information.They’ve helped teens with answers to their question about sex, relationships, pregnancy, STIs, birth control, sexual orientation and more!


It's Your Sex Life - MTV

It's Your (Sex) Life is MTV's Emmy and Peabody Award-winning public information campaign to support young people in making responsible decisions about their sexual health. The campaign focuses on reducing unintended pregnancy, preventing the spread of STIs, including HIV/AIDS, and open communication with partners and healthcare providers.


Sex Ed for Self Advocates - Organization for Autism Research

This guide is a sexuality and sex education resource written specifically for people on the autism spectrum age 15 and up. People on the autism spectrum sometimes don’t have the chance to learn about sexuality and sex in ways that work for them, so OAR created this guide as a starting point to change that.


Sex Ed School - Every Body Curious

Watch actual sex ed classes in action! While the students in the classes appear to be in early middle school, Sex Ed School touches on several topics included in comprehensive sex education including consent, STIs, gender, and more.
