Innovative sexual health programs for community colleges and universities

We work in community colleges and universities in Austin, San Antonio, and the Rio Grande Valley.

BAE-B-SAFE helps students prevent unplanned pregnancy and sexually transmitted infections. Students are also connected to healthcare providers in their community.

BAE-B-SAFE is committed to preparing and connecting students with the resources they need to be empowered about their sexual health.

Engagement

Our Curricula

SHARP Logo

Our customized intervention integrates components of evidence-based and evidence-informed curricula.

Sexual Health and Adolescent Risk Prevention (SHARP), Big Decisions, and Gender Matters are used to deliver a four hour, one-time session covering HIV and STI prevention, healthy and unhealthy relationships, basic anatomy, and methods of contraception.

SHARP typically takes place over zoom and is broken up into two zoom sessions with an hour break in-between. SHARP is also offered in-person as a 4-hour one-time intervention. For special inquiries outside of these settings, email us here.

Seventeen Days Logo

Seventeen Days is a theory-based interactive DVD designed to educate young women ages 14-19 about contraception and STIs.

The program presents the viewer with different scenarios involving decisions that young women face in relationships. Participants can practice what they would do in similar situations through the frequent use of cognitive rehearsal.

Seventeen Days is a single session course offered on DVD, online, or on the Seventeen Days app.
